Quentin has been training non-stop and it's a good thing because Hone and the Hwanai are at it again. Alexander and the P'yunae team have been scrambling to counter the latest threat to Earth.
A deep cover Hwanai agent has infiltrated the highest levels of the European Union. The original plan of arresting and turning him over to the authorities on Boke is out of the question, given the unsteady political climate in Europe. It is decided that a doppelganger--a look-alike, will take the agent's place. But a new discovery calls into question everything the team thought they knew about Quentin.
The entire population of Earth has been wiped out by the evil Hwanai, and Brinley Baker is the prisoner of Hone. Earth needs avenging, Brinley needs rescuing. All in a day’s work for the world’s greatest super hero, Quentin Robinson.
Together with his P’yunae friends, Quentin hopes to save Brinley and erase the attack on Earth from history by inventing new ways to use the mysterious Light Energy. The efforts of the team are paying off, and it seems only a matter of time before Quentin brings the fight to the Hwanai’s front door. The plans hit a snag when Quentin disappears. Hone springs the clone twins, Auk and Chway, from the brig aboard the Suntek, tripling the threat of time traveling enemies.
Meanwhile, even though he believes Quentin is most likely dead, Hone keeps Brinley close to him as he travels. While on Hwanan, Brinley meets a stranger who plays a bigger role in the story than even he knows. The twists and turns in time are growing, and the only thing you can expect, is the unexpected.
Quentin’s quest to rescue Brinley is nearly complete, but due to unforeseeable events, problems arise that the team cannot overcome on their own. Quentin finds himself outmatched and outnumbered as he squares off against new foes, and time is no longer an ally.
Dark forces are at work, and it seems as though the fourth dimension itself is in peril. Ancient theories on time travel come to light and the team rushes to set things right before the universe is annihilated as the timeline snaps under the strain of too much tampering.
A belief in something greater than us all has bound the team together. The belief that in life there comes a time when each and every one of us must decide where we stand, draw the line, and hold it for all that we are worth. Before it is over, some people will die, some battles will be lost, but others will be won. In the end, we will understand the true meaning of being fourth dimensional—doing the best we can with the time we have.
